It is not uncommon for UFC hunters in the same division to train together, even if there is a possibility that they will be tuned to each other later.
That is the situation in which #6 Caio Borralho was arranged that he was when he traveled to Sweden, and then back to Las Vegas, to train next to an unbeaten 'Borz'.
For the popular Brazilian, a 'fighting nerd' means that he always studies the people around him; And it is safe to say that Borralho has learned a lot from training with Khamzat Chimaev.

Caio Borralho believes that he has 'benefits' compared to Khamzat Chimaev
During a recent performance on the Jaxxon -Podcast, Borralho stated that he would be willing to face someone to secure his shot in the UFC middleweight title – even if that means that he is against his former training partner, Khamzat Chimaev.
'If they have given me this fight, I will certainly do that [fight Chimaev]I think that would be a great fight, “the 17-1 Brazilian, before explaining why he has an advantage over the unbeaten Chimaev.
“I trained with him for five weeks in Sweden and then in Las Vegas … so I know a bit about his system, what he wants to do now and what he wants [other] Guy to do then so that he can go on his system.
“I think I have benefits because I studied a lot of this – I paid attention [during training]. I certainly helped him, but I also paid attention to everything. '
As approved by former champion TJ Dillashaw, Borralho is the face of the Fighting Nerds team, and “they pay attention to” to all aspects of the training room, wherever they are.
“I was there to help him, at the time I only had two fights in the UFC, now I have seven fights, so I was sure to help him, and I went to Las Vegas with him because I mimbed Nate Diaz with whom he would fight.
“But I certainly learned a lot there, so I know what he wants. I am not saying that he is an easy task because his wrestling is at a different level … but I know that I have benefits from other boys to face him. “
From March 2025, Borralho is classified as the #6 best middleweight in the world – so what is the next step for this stylish top candidate?
Caio Borralho wants his route to the title through 'The Reaper'
Borralho has steadily worked its way through the UFC Middleweight Division, with two major victories in 2024 against Paul Craig (second round of TKO) and Jared Cannonier (unanimous decision).
“At the moment I am actually trying to fight Robert Whittaker,” he said later in the episode.
'Sean [Strickland] Just lost and broke his nose – I think he will be gone for a few months – [Nassourdine] Imavov, I don't think he will fight me because he wants to go for the belt … So Robert Whittaker is the one, he comes from a loss and walks in the ranking for me.
“I heard he wanted to fight in June, so why not fighting the international fighting week? I think it would be great for the fans and the UFC. “
International Fight Week is planned for 25-29 June.
