We are now only one sleep away from the light heavyweight confrontation that fans want to see for a long time.
The 205-pound champion of the UFC has become one of the biggest stars in sport with so many exciting opportunities for Alex Pereira.
During his title government there is a consistent challenger who pursued him with Magomed Ankalaev who called Pereira time and time again.
The two men will meet in the main event of UFC 313 on March 8, where many people are split about who leaves the T-Mobile-Arena in Las Vegas with the gold.
Although Ankalaev has so far been seen the most difficult test of the champion, there have many predictions that Pereira performs a statement performance.

Khalil Rountree says that Alex Pereira versus Magomed Ankalaev is a coin throw
Of the three men to face Alex Pereira in light heavyweight title fights, the opponent who did the best was the one who came in like a big underdog.
Khalil Rountree was against UFC 307, but his recent series highlight Reel Knockouts promised an explosive confrontation between two incredibly dangerous Gunlingers.
The challenger certainly had his moments, but as soon as the fight hit the championship rounds, 'Poatan' began to completely dominate and he grabbed his opponent before he brought him away.
Rountree recently joined the UFC's morning roads, where he was asked to give his thoughts about the matchup.
The former title Challenger stated that although it is clear that Ankalaev is a worthy challenger, he also does not think that we have seen the best of Pereira so far.
With that in mind, Rountree believes that the matchup can go in all directions as soon as the cage door closes on March 8.
“In my opinion it is really just like a Gooi. I hope that Alex wins because I eventually want a rematch and that would be cool and that is where I work for, but to be honest, it would not surprise me if Ankalaev was given the victory. ”
Khalil Rountree expects Magomed Ankalaev Alex Pereira to struggle
In many of the pre-fighting forecasts there is a big conversation point or Magomed Ankalaev will rely on his struggle to win this fight.
We have not seen the challenger use these skills extensively, but it seems to be his most logical route to victory.
Despite Ankalaev's comments about beating Pereira, Khalil Rountree does think that the Russian will try to struggle 'Poatan' and have been there in the champion, he does not expect the remarkably closely disputed.
“From what I have seen in the striking perspective, I don't see them evenly in that department matching. We have not seen much of the wrestling, but we do know that he is a strong guy. We know that he is a tough guy, so maybe this is the fight where he really brings it out and that is why I say that I would not be surprised. ”
