Match report
Ronald Koeman's Oranje participated in the quarterfinals of the Nations League quart finals during the international break of March and entered Saturday match with few errors, knowing that their main group G-Rivalen Poland had already won two games.
But a strong start ensured that they moved from the top within three points with a competition in hand.
Lukas Hradecky-Die The sixth player won 100 caps for Finland-Kreeg no chance because Depay used a sloppy Finland game to find the right-hand corner with a first finish after just six minutes.
Hradecky then made a stunning salvation to keep a header out of the recent Liverpool who signed Jeremie Frimpong, although he was again beaten in the 23rd minute when Dumfries finished with the hanging cross of Cody Gakpo.
The Orange went looking for more goals after the break if AC Milan's Tijjani Reijnders – who would be expected to come to Manchester City next week – sent a low effort, while Hradecky made a sharp stop to make depays deflected in safety.
Frenkie de Jong also shoved late, while Finland avoided further damage, although the defeat dropped them to four points of their first three games of the campaign.
