‘Fire the judge’… UFC 314 split decision draws intense criticism from online fight fans

The return from the Octagon to Miami has some questionable score cards early in the night.

Fortunately this did not affect the first two fights in the Kaseya center of UFC 314, which achieved a strong start with back-to-back finishes.

Nora Cornolle was criticized by fans for her response after getting the interruption, but the entry of the Bantam weight to Hailey Cowan was impressive.

The second matchup on the map stated a standard for the rest of the night with Marco Tulio who produced a devastating knockout against Treesean Gore after a wild opening round.

Flying weights followed the two dangerous middle weights with the jury members who were called after all three rounds worked for the first time on April 12.

Judges score Sumudaerji vs Mitch Raposo A split decision on UFC 314

In the third fight of the Night, Sumudaerji took his first victory in the Octagon in four years to bounce back from a three-fighting series.

The Alpha Male Fighter team took on Mitch Raposo, who was looking for his first UFC victory after a split decision loss for Andre Lima during his debut last June.

The Raposo game plan was highly dependent on his wrestling power, with the 26-year-old 6 Takedowns secured with 19 attempts for the duration of 15 minutes.

The success of Sumudaerji came in the striking exchanges, while the fight remained when he capitalized at the moments when he could implement his strategy, but the same could not be said for his opponent.

Despite producing more than four minutes of control time on the ground, the American landed very little damage with a total of nine important strikes over the entire fight.

It was a clear and common opinion that this would separate the two men on the score cards with Sumudaerji Landing 45 important strikes with 114 thrown in total.

Vecht fans around the world were then shocked to hear that the game had made a split decision with the score cards showing that judge Jinichiro Kamijo scored both the first and the second rounds for Raposo, where he did very little and only two important strikes in the second countries.

Sumudaerji deserved the victory, but things could have been very different despite the score criteria.

Fans criticize judge on score cards for Sumudaerji vs Raposo

Fight fans were not happy with the first decision result from UFC 314, even though the right man got his hand at the end of the game.

One reaction in particular was incredibly critical of both Kamijo and Raposo after the outcome and wrote: “Fire the judge who scored that for Raposo and then cut Raposo Dog S -Fighter.”

Many felt that Raposo had no one but himself the guilty person because of his low output, while others feared what this would mean later in the night when the judges were taken back into action.

“It will be a wild night for LMAO decisions,” with a different reaction that encourages the athletes to put it all at stake. “Everyone can go better for Finises tonight.”
