Five EPL clubs meet with Bournemouth star’s agents for £50m transfer talks

Bournemouth Defender Dean Huijsen attracts interest from some of the largest clubs in the Premier League, with its £ 50 million release clause active in the summer transfer window

Arsenal and Liverpool are among the five Premier League clubs that the agents of Dean Huijsen have met, while the race to sign the defender of Bournemouth is warming up. Huijsen, 19, quickly emerged as one of Europe's most coveted center backs after his move from Italian giant Juventus last summer.

The Center-Back has already made its debut for Spain, impressive during their recent winner of the Nations League Quarte Final in the Netherlands. Huijsen registered an assist in the second stage and this season also chipped two goals for Bournemouth, with his talent in both boxes.

His form has led to some of the largest clubs in the Premier League to register their interest. Chiefs from Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle and Tottenham are said to have met Huijsen's representatives to discuss a move.

The athletic report that the 19-year-old has a release clause of £ 50 million. Both Bournemouth and Huijsen want a fast result, in which Spain participates in the semi -final of the Nations League in June.

Cherries boss Andoni Iraola will lose some of his most important players this summer, with left back Milos Kerkez and Antoine Semenyo also forward. Iraola is also tipped to leave.

Huijsen recently stated that he wants to play at the highest level, with Real Madrid a rumor destination. Huijsen told El Chiringuito TV: “One of my good friends sent me a story about Real. He told me that I had to go to Madrid!”

“I don't know, we'll see. It's a big team. Every player wants to play at a maximum possible level. I have a contract until 2030, I have a clause.”

The ex-Juventus prospect, which spent on loan in Roma last season, then revealed that his idol Madrid legend Sergio Ramos and manager Carlo Ancelotti is praised. He said: “My idol? Ramos, since I was young. Ancelotti? He is a very good coach. He is not in Madrid for nothing, he has his merit.”

Iraola speculated about the future of Huijsen last month and said: “We are not surprised, probably because he has now made his national team debut. He has played well, they probably have it more about him.

“He has played consistently and I think he performed very well. He has had to deal with very difficult attackers, but we already knew that he was a very good player when he came in the summer.”
