Flick to make shock decision to leave out 2 stars for Barca-Atletico semi-final

Barcelona has already confronted Atletico Madrid three times this season, and while the manager of Atletico Madrid Diego Simeone did not predict much in the way of changes from both sides, his opposite song is planned to have two shock conversations this evening. The Blaugrana goes to the metropolitan level on 4-4 on aggregated in the Copa del Rey Semi-Final, with Real Madrid awaiting the winner in the final in La Cartuja.

The Blaugrana will be without Marc Casado, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Marc Bernal, Andreas Christensen and Dani Olmo for the collision, with the last the big question mark in Hansi Flick's Start XI in Madrid. However, Cadena SER reports that Flick will make two surprise changes for the second stage.

After Olmo arrived with an injury last week, Gavi became the hot favorite to fulfill his role in the side for Pedri and Frenkie de Jong, for many the next best option that Barcelona has in terms of midfielders. Yet the radio outlet says that it will be Fermin Lopez who gets the kink for Gavi and Pablo Torre to play it on their midfielders.

For him there will also not be a star of Robert Lewandowski. The Polish attacker scored a brace on Sunday and hit the back of the net against Osasuna last week, but Ferran Torres is tipped to start for him.

Torres, who is currently a goal of a goal this season, is in good shape and has demonstrated Flick that he appreciates the movement of the Valencian Forward. Torres also started the first stage and played largely well, although he has passed on two good chances. Perhaps more surprising would be almost the absence of Gavi. Lopez searched for a large part of the season on the outside and Gavi did a good performance against Osasuna last week, praised by Flick in public.
