Barcelona boss Hansi Flick wanted to keep a potential treble under control after Wednesday's Copa del Rey on Wednesday from Atletico Madrid.
The Blaugrana defeated Atletico 1-0 to seal a 5-4 aggregated victory and set up a final against Rivals Real Madrid later this month.
Barca is on a 21-game undefeated run over all competitions and are the only team in Europe's top five competitions that still have to be losing in 2025. They are top of LaLiga and also in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
But Flick remained carefully about their chances of winning the Treble and insisted on his players to maintain another game mentality, warning that his team has little margin for errors.
“I know everyone wants us to talk about the final, it is a 'clasico', I understand that, but I do not live in the past or in the future and our focus should be [Real] Betis, who are our next opponents in Laliga, “Flick told reporters.
“Yes, we are at a great moment, but in this business time I have been enough time to know how everything can change in a heartbeat, so we have to stay focused.
“Dreams are allowed, but first we have to work very hard and stay focused, so that we can keep that dream alive.”
The Copa del Rey -Final is planned for April 26, two weeks before Barca and Madrid will meet in Laliga – a competition that could determine the title well.
It will be the eighth Copa del Rey final between Madrid and the Blaugrana. Only Barca v Athletic Bilbao has more often been a final in the history of the competition (nine times).
'I will stay [to thinking about] This formidable victory, which really made me happy, “Flick added.
“Everyone can be proud of this team, we coaches are proud of this team. I am always positive, so I will not deny that I had great expectations for this team when I arrived last summer.
8th – This will be the eighth #copadelrey -final between @realmadriden and @fcbarcelona (four titles for the whites, three for the Blaugranas). Only Barcelona vs Athletic is the last lake played in the competition (9) than El Clásico. Expected. #Copadelrey #elclasico pic.twitter.com/epaktvy6p7

“I told them that I was very happy, that if we played the way we did that day, we would win.
“We were brave and we knew how to suffer. It is not easy to keep a clean slate in this stadium, Atletico is one of the best teams in Europe. So we have to be really proud.”
Ferran Torres got the decisive goal against Athleti.
Of the players in Europe's top five competitions that have scored 10+ goals this season in all competitions, Ferran is the player with the best minutes per target average (81).
“Winning here is already tasting great, so you can imagine that you score the winner, which books a ticket to a final,” he said.
“The game was a war, a final was at stake. We did everything we could and it was in our hands to win and get that place in the final.”
