A prime-time planning lock was not enough to convince some fans to start UFC London.
In July 2024, when MMA's most important promotion came to Groot -Britain for UFC 304, many attendees fell asleep while Leon Edwards lost his welterweight title to Belal Muhammad during their 5 -hour main event.
Eight months later, Leon Edwards tried to return to the title entry while he bumped with Sean Brady after a 12-field UFC London Undercard who shockingly did not kill any knockouts.
Towards the end of the round three, the favorite of the birthplace was bad in a spirit -killing boring fight, many fans decided they had seen enough before Edwards was tapped with a cut -off choke in the fourth frame.

Images show that fans leave UFC London early
Various videos from the iconic iconic arena fans of London show fans and leave the event early.
The UFC commentators pointed that a noticeable amount of people went home after round three.
When Edwards's very first loss of stops were confirmed, fans went to social media to complain about the map.
“Just a terribly boring card,” said a fan. While another added: “One of the worst events I have seen in a while.”
“Sometimes they have to be said as it is, last night was the worst UFC card in a long time. #Ufclondon,” someone else noticed.
“UFC is not what it used to be,” was a fourth social media user on it.
“Boring like F-,” tweet this angry fan.
“UFC London was nothing less than a disaster for the home crowd that has paid the top prizes. 3-6 record for English hunters. No knockouts … The strike of fans during the main voted summarized,” tweeted a sixth fan.
Molly McCann is retiring
The most remarkable moment of UFC London saw fan favorite hunter, Molly McCann, retired.
The opponent of McCann, Alexia Thainara, literally danced her way to the cage before he scoring a first round entry victory in her promotion debut.
'Meatball' took off her gloves before he told Michael Bisping that she finished MMA during an interview after the fight.
McCann's old teammate, Paddy Pimblett, was seen in tears while she made the enormous announcement.
“UFC, Dana, Hunter, Mick, F ——— Hell, all of you,” said McCann.
“I started this sport at 24 hours, I walked into that gym with these three boys and I gave you all my F ——— – Heart and Soul, but tonight with that performance with someone in a week, it's not good enough, I don't just come here for a payment day, the UFC earns more, I earn more, I earn more and you all earn more.
“So from this little girl from Norris Green, who has to fight in these great arenas, thank you very much, look at the little girls who look at me at home, see what I was able to do, only two hands and two elbows and I had a good course.
“Thank you very much and Dana, if you ever need an ambassador to fly through Europe, I am good on the beer, I can talk to someone to sign a new deal, so thanks and goodnight UFC.”
