Footage shows the real hero behind Fulham’s FA Cup penalty shootout win over MU

Fans have seen the crucial role that Fulham striker Raul Jimenez played in the Penalty Shootout of his side on Manchester United on Sunday.

Penalties were needed to separate the two games in Old Trafford after their fifth round FA Cup strop das 1-1 ended after extra time.

With a place in the quarterfinals on the line, all four penaltyes from Fulham kept their nerve, while Bernd Leno Spot kicks from Victor Lindelof and Joshua Zirkzee saved the visitors to achieve an impressive victory.

Leno was rightly praised as the hero of Fulham, but since then it has arisen that he had some help from Jimenez, who had scored his own penalty to set Fulham on his way to the last eight.

While the players gathered on the half line, the Mexican attacker could be seen in the direction Leno should dive.

He rightly suspected that Diogo Dalot would put the second fine of United to Leno's left, but the German Shot stopper ignored him and went in the wrong direction.

However, he learned from his fault for United's fourth Spot-Kick, while he followed Jimenez's instructions.

This time Jimenez predicted that Lindelof would go to Leno to the right and he did exactly that, where Leno achieved a nice salvation.

The keeper could be seen who gestured to half the line after the salvation, who recognizes the help of Jimenez van Verre.

That seemed to give Leno confidence when he then went to the left to stop Zirkzee's penalty to confirm Fulham's victory.

Jimenez, Leno and Co now have a quarterfinals at home in Crystal Palace to look forward to the knockout of the title defender.

Fulham has never won the FA Cup, but is only one competition removed from Wembley and will feel like their chances to go all the way with a number of Premier League opportunities who have already been eliminated from this year's competition.
