A big week of European football will be completed tonight, with three Premier League parties in Europa League and Conference League promotion. Manchester United stands against Lyon, with Tottenham taking on Eintracht Frankfurt and Chelsea with horns with Legia Warszawa.
There is enough to continue during the run -up to the competitions. Players and manager spoke with the media on Wednesday, with former Manchester United star Nemanja Matic in the middle of things while he prepares for his old employers.
Earlier this week we also saw a lot of fall-out of the Champions League matches. Arsenal's 3-0 victory over Real Madrid On Tuesday evening certainly attracted attention, and Madrid star Kylian Mbappe was pronounced in the aftermath of the game.
All four quarter -finals in each of the European club matches will be closed next week. Although it is difficult to win a two-legged draw in just 90 minutes of football, the Premier League representatives can look at the Gunners as an example of how you can give yourself the best chance.

Mbappe's Arsenal message
Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe has refused to give up the Champions League Glory, despite the setback of his team on Tuesday evening. “Hay que create Hasta El Final”, or “you have to believe until the end” was his simple message on Instagram.
Mbappe and his teammates were stopped at the Emirates Stadium before Arsenal ran Riot in the second half. Declan Rice scored twice, both goals came from direct free kicks and Mikel Merino added a third.

Onana hits back to Matic
The goalkeeper of Manchester United, Andre Onana, was not so friendly to name Nemanja Matic one of the worst stoppers in the history of the club. The Cameroon International had its own record in a social media post to have heard about the comments of the Serbian International.
“I would never be disrespectful for another club,” wrote Onana. “We know that tomorrow will be a difficult game against a strong opponent.
“We focus on preparing a performance to make our fans proud. At least I have lifted trophies with the largest club in the world. Some cannot say the same thing.”
Matic did not succeed in winning a trophy in his five seasons as a united player, although he reached the Europa League final with the club in 2021. Onana already has two domestic cup trophies to his name, the Carabao Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup the following year.
Postecoglou's 'C ** P' Jibe
Tottenham Hotspur prepared for their quarterfinals by beating Southampton on Sunday. Part of the reaction was aimed at Mathys Tel and scored the fine of clinchen when teammate Brennan Johnson was on a hat trick and manager Ange Postecoglou did not take too friendly to part of the fall-out.
