UFC Middleweight Champion Dric Du Plessis Forgot Brendan Allen's pre-PUC Seattle Jabs not after Allen's Co-Main loss against Anthony Hernandez.
Brendan Allen's revenge attempt against Anthony Hernandez in UFC Seattle did not fall to the goal on Saturday. After they had dropped their first fight in LFA earlier in their career, all struggled to prevent Hernandez's struggling and timely striking, which led to a unanimous decision.
Allen's loss in UFC Seattle marked the first time he lost successive fights during his MMA career. Before UFC Seattle, all was postponed last September by Nassourdine Imavov by a unanimous decision.
In the run -up to UFC Seattle, Allen seemed to downen the awards of Dricus du Plessis, and credited the title of Du Plessis to fight the right opponents at the right time.

Dricus Du Plessis gets the last smile after the defeat of Brendan Allen's UFC Seattle
“Somehow Dricus just gets it done,” said Allen on the Pre-Fight Media Day last Wednesday. “If you look at his resume on paper, you are just like F – Man, this guy is a stud. But if you really look at it and look at the fighting, he fights these guys who have such a great name, but look at the time he fights against them. He fights them if they are not really motivated or on their way outside, or just getting father time. Is the case anyway.
“For example, you see (Adesanya) on someone's resume and you think of the Izzy at his top and you are like:” Wow, he has defeated this guy. ” Then you look at the fight: “This is not the Izzy Paulo Costa or something like this. Times, and it is what it is.
Du Plessis got the last smile and mocked the middleweight candidate in his post-fight Instagram post after all thinking about what the next step for him is after UFC Seattle.
“I also don't know what the next step is, but I can certainly tell what is not there for a very long time,” Du Persis replied.
Du Plessis is fresh from a dominant victory over Sean Strickland on UFC 312 earlier this month. A collision with Khamzat Chimaev is the most likely next option for his next title defense.
Dricus Du Plessis adds a new chapter to building Brendan Allen Beef
This is not the first time that Du Plessis and all have hooks from far away. After the loss of all against Imavov in his previous fight, Du Plessis trolled the middleweight candidate on social media.
While both Du Plessis and all ranked the middleweight ranking earlier in their career, they were never linked, although both parties accuse the other of 'diving' of a potential fighting booking.
Although Du Plessis vs. All will probably not come out quickly, it is still an interesting storyline to keep an eye on. If all can go on a run in the division, he can present a fresh new competition for Du Plessis to defend the belt against.
