Forest and Man City fans applaud for Stuart Pearce after his health scare

Fans of Nottingham Forest and Man City brought a heart-warming tribute to Stuart Pearce on their Premier League collision on Saturday afternoon, after the English legend had a health zipper this week on a plane.

The former club captain of Forest was on a flight from Las Vegas when the incident took place, making the plane an emergency landing in Canada.

The nature of the medical emergency is still unknown, but the mere news was enough for both Forest and City fans to send their best wishes to the beloved 62-year-old.

They held applause for a minute in the third minute, a reference to the fact that the former defender famous wore the NO 3 shirt.

Pearce played and managed both forest and city in his career. He made 401 performances for Bos for 12 years – from 1985 to 1997 – and 38 performances for City in 2001-02.

While the city broke out in applause on Saturday, the TNT commentary team also shared a number of sincere words for Pearce.

Darren Fletcher said: “We send our best wishes to a man who is a good friend of ours, Ally?”

Co-commentator Ally McCoist replied: 'Absolutely, without a doubt a good friend of ours and we wish him completely very best. Get well soon, Pearcey. '

Fletcher added: “I know he looks somewhere, so it gets better quickly and we see you very quickly that we hope, size.”

Forest went to social media to write: 'psycho', followed by a heart emoji. This was the nickname of Pearce, conceived by Forest fans in the late eighties and then taken over by supporters of England.

In his last year in Forest, Pearce operated as a player manager in the 1996-97 season. About 17 years later he returned to Managed Forest for one season in 2014.

Before that he managed City between 2005 and 2007, as well as the England under 21 years old. He was also the caretaker's boss for the Senior Side in 2012.

Pearce, who played 78 times for the Drie Lions between 1987 and 1999, was connected to a monitor by the crew and hurried to the hospital after the emergency landing after his health incident.

The flight was on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner plane and went from Vegas to Heathrow.

It landed in St John's in Canada on Monday after the staff had made the decision to land prematurely. It is thought that the aircraft was 30,000 feet when the incident took place.

Pearce and his partner had fleeed economics, making the United States left at 8:45 pm at 8.45 pm on Sunday.

He is now recovering in the hospital, with the remaining 225 passengers who later flown to Heathrow and arrived six hours later than they were – at 6:15 pm on Monday.

He was in Vegas to watch Warrington Wolves – the Rugby League team that he supports – stands for Wigan Warriors before he went home.

It is understanding that Pearce personnel and passengers were extremely grateful for their understanding and the early landing as the concern of his partner and other members of the public grew during the flight.
