Forest backed to land Champions League spot as supercomputer decides top four

Could Nottingham Forest, two-time European Cup winners in 1979 and 1980, make an unthinkable return to Europe Elite Competition next season? A prediction model for supercomputer has something interesting to say about it.

Forest has intensified their push to secure a Champions League spot this season after having seven past Brighton at the weekend. They are currently four points free from Chelsea in the fourth and seven free from Manchester City, which is in fifth place.

It is more than a year ago that Nuno Espirito Santo took over in Forest, sent them away from relegation and the team and this season has tarted the expectations. In fact, their silence on Deadline Day hinted that it was not necessary not to strengthen this winter.

And a supercomputer run by Casinohawks has predicted a European return for the forest after they had been tipped, so much to go before the season started.

European dream for Nottingham Forest

The Data Scientists team behind the supercomputer claimed that “it is” a probability model based on the current strength of a team (based on factors such as competition position and form) and game channels. “

All these factors have combined to predict a return from European football to the city area next season. The supercomputer supports Liverpool to finish the top with 96 points ten points free from second place. And it surprises the forest to finish third for the city side of Pep Guardiola.

It has predicted a scenario in which Forest will be in the Champions League for the first time after he had previously been scaled to the top of the European mountain when Brian Clough was in the club. It will be a dream scenario for Forest that last played in the Top Tier European Competition in 1981.

It is predicted that Bournemouth will end in fifth place after a great year. Newcastle and Chelsea take the last European places, in sixth and seventh place – to exchange position of the 2023/24 season.

In particular, Manchester United is projected for a historic layer in 12th place with new Ruben Amorim manager who does not make any change in fortunes. It would be the worst status of the Red Devils in the Premier League Record books and their worst achievements since the 1989/90 season under Sir Alex Feguson, where they ended 13th.

Plagued by injuries, tracks put down under Ange Postecoglou to end their season in a shocking 16th place, just above the relegation zone.

It is predicted that Leicester will escape relegation under Ruud van Nistelrooy and eventually enjoy a six -point kisses about Wolves, who ended up 18th. Newly promoted Ipswich and Southampton immediately return to the championship.
