Former Liverpool -star Florent Sinama Pongolle has exchanged football for a new profession in the sports world.
The Frenchman, now 40, enjoyed the Reds that started in 2001 for five years, and even scored a crucial goal against Olympiacos in the run of his club to the 2005 Champions League final.
He called time on his gaming career in 2019, but did not hang his boots forever, with Sinama Pongolle now competing like a professional foot golfer.
The former Liverpool star shared videos of his skills on the course with his 107,000 Instagram followers on Tuesday, with fans who were left stunned by one incredible long-distance putt.
Sinama Pongolle, who played as an attacker during his career, had enjoyed a day at the Golf de Saint Donat, a course not far from Cannes in South France.
He thought he represents the Havre Footegolf Club, in the same city that he had spent two years on loan with playing for Le Havre.
The first video that was shared by the Nu-Bald Sinama Pongolle showed him, with the right-wing fry who curled an attempt to the gap that only the Green missed.
However, it was a later video that caught the attention of supporters, with the 40-year-old filmed an incredible side-footed putt that dripped into the hole.
And Sinama Pongolle seemed pretty satisfied with himself, while the former Chicago Fire star hit the air in the French sun.
After the rise by the Le Havre Academy, who also produced French stars such as Paul Pogba, Riyad Mahrez and Dimitri Payet, Sinama Pongolle was signed by Liverpool in 2001 at the age of only 16.
However, he was never a mainstay in the eleven of the Reds during his time in Anfield, which made 65 performances appeared in five seasons.
He was also loaned twice, first back to Le Havre and later to colleague Premier League Club Blackburn Rovers during the last year of his Liverpool contract.
The biggest moment of Sinama Pongolle in a Liverpool shirt came from the bank in 2005 in a Champions League group game.
After he was sent by Rafa Benitez during a match against Olympiacos, the striker reimbursed the faith of his manager by achieving a crucial goal in a 3-1 victory that insured the place of Liverpool in the last 16.
Benitez's side of course went that year the Champions League won after a remarkable 3-0 comeback against AC Milan in the final.
The time of Sinama Pongolle in Merseyside ended in 2006 when he made a move to the Spanish side Recreativo, where he was normal for two seasons.
Impressive versions in LaLiga delivered him a move to Atletico Madrid in 2008, before he also enjoyed spells with Sporting Lisbon and Chicago Fire.
He called time on his gaming career in 2019 after a brief enchantment with his hometown of Saint-Pierroise.
Sinama Pongolle appeared for the French national team during his career.
