Former Alex Pereira opponent calls out UFC Abu Dhabi fighter who steamrolled top-10 contender in seconds

The explosive UFC Abu Dhabi version of Bogdan Guskov caught the attention of a man who was used to being confronted with astonishing power.

The UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Etihad Arena ended with a crucial victory for Reinier de Ridder on Robert Whittaker, who raises the Dutchman to the photo of the middleweight title. But the winner of the most important event was far from the only man who climbed a division ladder.

On the other side of the main map of July 26, Guskov made a splash in his last Octagon outing. After losing a debut in Korte Notites at the top 10 competition in Volkan Ozdemir, the Uzbekistani hunter won three directly to earn another chance.

And he made the best of it at UFC Abu Dhabi, where Guskov walked through Nikita Krylov in just 42 seconds to make the four finishes in his last four fights.

Dustin Jacoby raises his hand for Bogdan Guskov fight after UFC Abu Dhabi

With the victory on Saturday, Guskov can probably expect that the Krylov's number 10 will take place in the UFC Light Heavyweight Rankings. With that in mind, 'Czarevitch' will have his sights on those above him put in the pecking order.

But if the promotion is struggling to match him with a highly arranged opponent, a previously arranged veteran would not mind throwing with the emerging powerhouse.

Just after the brutal triumph of Guskov in the Middle East, Dustin Jacoby raised his hand as the next opponent of the 32-year-old.

Jacoby, a 16-Vecht UFC veterinarian, comes from two devastating knockout wins in a row itself and is looking for the chance to regain a song next to his name on 205 pounds.

“Please register, please!” Jacoby wrote on X.

Dustin Jacoby was a victim of the left hook of Alex Pereira in kickboxing

Jacoby has fought a number of remarkable names in the UFC, including former title finances Khalil Rountree and Dominick Reyes. However, he still has to face an ex-champion in the cage.

'The Hanyak' has history with former two-division title holder Alex Pereira. The pair bumped into kickboxing 11 years ago and moisture on Glory 14 in Zagreb, Croatia. Like many since then in MMA, Jacoby fell victim to the patented left hook of the Brazilian, so that the American only ko -the defeat was marked in sport.

“He is faster, super fast! He is much faster than he can appear,” Jacoby told InsideFighting earlier this year about his experience fighting to Pereira.

“He has this appearance about him, the physical presence. … The man is a warrior. He is in it to fight and the power is simply the godless.

“I have never felt anything like that. He is doing so well,” he added.
