Barcelona is looking for a new left wing player, and they can be warned of the situation of one of their former goals, which is offered for sale by their current club for this summer's transfer window.
In 2022, Barcelona Alberto Moleiro tried to sign when he was sitting on the edge of the first team of Las Palmas, but despite an agreement there was, a deal fell through. And the 21-year-old has since remained in Gran Canaria, although that could change in the coming months.
That is because Las Palmas has decided that Moleiro, who was strongly connected to a move to Saudi Aarabia during the winter transfer window, is offered for sale in the summer, as reported by La Provincia (via Ed), and will happen the same with former Barcelona defender Mika Marmol.
Both players no longer have a contract in 2026 and Las Palmas fears that they will not be able to agree to new deals with Moleiro and Marmol. As such, the idea is that they are being cashed in to prevent them from losing nothing 12 months later, which the Gran Canaria Club tried – and failed – with goalkeeper Alvaro Valles.
There is little doubt that both players will attract strong lovers in the summer. Moleiro previously attracted Premier League interest from Arsenal, while Marmol was associated with a move to Serie A in January, although Las Palmas could continue on that occasion.
It should be a busy summer in Las Palmas, who hopes to prevent relegation from La Liga towards the end of this season. And it will be very interesting to see where Moleiro and Marmol end, given that they seem to be sure.
