When Girona came to La Liga, the young defender Arnau Martinez was one of the headline names from their debut season and impressed a Ball-backback. After a more modest season last year, competing with Yan Couto for his position in the team, he again plays a leading role for Michel Sanchez.
Originally a central defender who came through in La Masia, Arnau joined Girona and was impressed by his assets on the ball and his game Smarts. Striking for his looting runs of right back in the box, he also developed an eye for goal. At the age of only 21, Arow is now the Girona captain and this season has 3 goals and 3 assists in 26 performances.
According to Relo, Galatasaray evaluates a movement for him. The transfer window is not closed in Turkiye until 11 February, a full week after Central Europe. Last summer Arnau signed a five -year -old deal with the Catalan side, but his release clause is a relatively modest € 14 million, making it a much attractive target for larger sides.
Galatasaray still has to make a formal offer for Arnau, but all parties are aware of the interest. It is not yet clear whether the defender would like to have a movement, since he is satisfied in North Catalonia, and Girona could only sign a replacement if he would leave. It is clear that Girona does not like to lose a captain and important player at this stage in the season, but there is little that they can do if the Turkish giants activate his release clause.
Two summers ago it didn't look like Arnau would last so long on the Catalan side, where both Atletico Madrid and Barcelona merge his agents about a movement. However, because the 21-year-old does not take a decisive step, the 21-year-old remains an attractive option.
