
Guo Jiaxuan, a former youth star of Bayern Munich, died after a head injury during the training in February, was confirmed.
The 18-year-old defender, formerly about the books in the Bavarian giants, was reportedly struck in the face by a knee during the training camp last month.
He played in a training match against the Spanish side RC Alcobendas in a camp organized by the Beijing Football Association.
His brother revealed on social media that Guo had suffered a subarachnoid bleeding – a form of stroke caused by bleeding on the brain – after the accidental collision.
Doctors in Madrid then adopted Guo with 'brain death', according to his brother.
Now his last club Beijing Guoan has announced the tragic news with a moving tribute to 'a child who loved football'.
“We lost a child who loved football. May Jiaxuan rest in peace! “said the club.
“The club will continue to do its utmost to tackle the consequences in the right way and to offer all the necessary help and support to the family of Guo Jiaxuan.”
Guo's father reportedly refused the doctor's suggestion to eliminate the livelihood of his son and carry out an autopsy, and instead he searched for further treatment to China.
The South China Morning Post reported that the family of Guo de Beijing Football Association and his club Beijing Guoan of it accused of not covering his medical accounts. The family claimed that De Beijing Fa had not been purchased to buy insurance for the trip.
The organization has reportedly reached an agreement to transport Guo to China, where it collapsed with his brain injury.
