Lewis Baker struck a championship goal of the seasonal band for Stoke on Saturday and scored from his own half in their 3-1 victory over Swansea.
The former Chelsea Academy star saw goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux far away from his line and decided to test his luck from more than 60 meters.
He found the back of the net and registered his third goal in the competition this season.
To reference, the goal of Baker David Beckham's iconic 57-Yard strike for Manchester United in 1996 against Wimbledon.
Baker joined the Chelsea Academy in 2005 in 2005 and spent eight years as a professional.
Between 2014 and 2022, however, the midfielder only made two senior performances for the blues.
Baker debuted for Chelsea under Jose Mourinho as an 87th minute replacement in a 2-0 FA Cup third round victory over Derby in January 2014.
He underwent loan spells in an abundance of clubs before he came to Stoke for a deal of two and a half years.
These include: Sheffield Wednesday, MK Dons, Vitesse, Middlesbrough, Leeds, Reading, Fortuna Dusseldorf and Trabzonspor.
On August 29, 2024, Baker joined Blackburn until the end of the season, but was recalled by Stoke last month.
He has represented England of the level of less than 17 to 21, but has never earned a senior cap for his nation.
