Former Man United Premier League winner, 43, looks unrecognisable as he blends in with fans on his Old Trafford return

Can you work out this former winner of the Manchester United Premier League title?

The star returned to Old Trafford earlier this month for the club's goal against Manchester City, 13 years after departure.

Now 43, in his glory years he achieved three Premier League crowns, a Champions League, a clubworld cup, two EFL cups and three community shields.

He was once entangled in a blunder kit where his name was spelled on his shirt for a Carling Cup collision with Crewe Alexandra. Admittedly, his name was never the easiest to spell.

The player made 61 performances for six seasons for the Red Devils, but left in search of more playing time.

He now has a little facial hair that there was not there in his united days … but can you recognize it?

The star in question is none other than Tomasz Kuszczak, the former backup goalkeeper.

“A few years have passed, but the sentiment remained the same,” he wrote on Instagram as he shared images of his return.

“It was nice to be on the Old Trafford Turf again and meet old friends.”

One was Darren Fletcher, with whom he posed for a photo at the field.

The 11-way Poland International had to settle for his name that Zuszczak was spelled in the aforementioned Crewe Alexandra collision.

He was signed in 2006 of West Bromwich Albion to be Edwin van der Sar's understudy, but with the chance to take his place after the expected retirement of the Dutchman after Euro 2008.

But Van der Sar clamped himself until 2001, and the arrival of Anders Lindegaard in 2010, for David de Gea in 2011, blocked his route to the hierarchy.

Kuszczak then played in the championship for Watford, Brighton, Wolves and Birmingham before retired in 2019.

Since then he has started a construction company, he has obtained a sports journalism diploma and worked as a goalkeeper coach.
