Former Chelsea star John Obi Mikel has told Jamie Carragher that he can 'finish' after the Pundit criticized his Africa Cup of Nations Snub.
Carragher has confronted the heat in recent days after giving an reasoning why he thinks the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is not a 'big tournament'.
On Sunday, the Liverpool – legend that Mohamed Salah was disadvantaged in the annual debate for the Ballon d'Or because it is unable to win a large international tournament – in his eyes, the euros, Copa America or the World Cup (for which Egypt is not often often often displayed).
But that opinion brought him criticism from, among others, Daniel Sturridge, Micah Richards and Rio Ferdinand – and now Mikel has joined the pile with regard to a separate issue.
Mikel said on the OBI One -Podcast: 'It is so disrespectful what he said, and this comes from someone who has never won a major international competition with England.
“His statement was absolutely wrong. I hope he will come out and make an enormous apology because he owes people around the world an apology. [It was] Unaware of respecting such a beautiful tournament.
'If you think the Premier League would be what it is today with only the English players that you have a laughing mate.

'The man says so many things on TV, has never won the Premier League, analyzes teams and tells them that you have to win the Premier League.
'You never won it, you don't know what is needed to win the F *** ING Premier League, you don't know what it takes to win with your national team. You cannot discredit such a beautiful, beautiful tournament. People in Africa die for the Africa Cup of Nations.

During his gaming career, Mikel won the Africa Cup of Nations in 2013 and finished second on two different occasions.
