A former PGMOL chef and ex-FIFA officer criticized Michael Oliver's referee during the controversial Merseyside Derby between Everton and Liverpool in Goodison Park.
The game on Wednesday descended in Chaos – who made the headlines – after the players collided in a massive fight that resulted in four red cards that were given after the last whistle.
It all started when James Tarkowski scored a half-volley goal in stop time to get a 2-2 draw and a crucial point for Everton.
After the last whistle, Liverpool -midfielder Curtis Jones and his opponent Abdoulaye Doucoure were fired after the Mali International was seen in celebrating the supporters of the Reds.
Liverpool -captain Virgil van Dijk later said that referee Oliver had lost control of the derby because he had sent two more people off the field.
In addition, ex-PGMOL chef Keith Hackett revealed that the game official was wrong to grant a set piece to Everton, which led to Beto's opener in the 11th minute.
He said: “Liverpool was in the wrong end of a bad decision by Michael Oliver to assign Everton a free kick that led to their first goal.
“There was no mistake. Oliver is wrong '
The set piece followed after Everton-wing player Iliman Ndiaye went to the ground after a tackle by Alexis Mac Allister in the middle of the field.
Jarrad Branthwaite took the opportunity to continue to Beto after he was not covered by Konate, which led to a shot that Wranded under Alisson for his fourth Premier League goal this season.
Liverpool was quickly right by Mac Allister's header after an assist from Mohamed Salah. Then they took the lead in the 73rd minute after a strike by the Egyptian, who is the Premier League top goalscorer with 23 goals so far.
After the last whistle, however, the game was also remembered because of his controversy when manager Arne Slot got a red card after an angry handshake during the exchange of words with Oliver.
The Dutchman will be absent for Liverpool's match against De Wolves on Sunday, whereby assistant coach of the first team of John Heitinga will probably take over.
