Former UFC fighter who went 5-2 inside the Octagon produces incredibly rare submission in Ilia Topuria’s promotion

The lightweight champion of the UFC has been busy since winning the title in June.

Although there has been no confirmation what the next will be for Ilia Topuria, he was recently warned about his next actions.

After UFC 317 there is a lot of talk about who will be confronted with the unbeaten champion, with many who criticize his decision to trivialize a fight with Arman Tsarukyan.

Paddy Pimblett is still hopeful that he will come across the next Topuria, but talking about the lightweight contenders that are in the mix is not the only focus for 'El Matador'.

Last August he became co-owner of an MMA promotion that he hopes will have a huge impact.

Brett Johns returns to the Win -Kolom by obtaining a rare entry on WOW 21

In 2024, Ilia Topuria became a co-owner of the Spanish MMA promotion, Way of Warrior FC.

Because the star status of the lightweight champion of the UFC has continued to grow, it seems that his promotion has also entered into force, with larger and better events.

Wow FC returned last Saturday evening with an event held in the Marbella Auditorio in Spain.

For WOW 21, the promotion of former UFC hunter Brett Johns, who previously participated in the Bantamweight Division where he went 5-2.

After compiling three consecutive victories in the Octagon, including a victory where he only produced the second veal slot in UFC history, he suffered from Aljamain Sterling and Pedro Munhoz before he won two more attacks and left the promotion.

Johns then went to compete for Bellator and the PFL before he said goodbye in 2024 in 2024 and signed with WOW after the canceled events of the GFL.

On WOW 21 he closed the show with the incredibly rare Sulaev Stretch entry, in which he defeated Levan Kirtadze in the first round.

UFC 228 produced two Sulaoev Stretch submissions on the same night in insanely

On the way to UFC 228 in September 2018, Kenny Robertson was the only hunter who held a UFC victory via Sulaev Stretch, after he had submitted Brock Jardine to UFC 157.

On the Prelims, the former opponent of Brett Johns, Aljamain Sterling, Cody Stamann with the Kneebar submission only defeated the same technique that was replicated on the main map.

Zabit Magomedsharipov was perhaps an incredibly impressive striker, but he was also dangerous on the floor, as he proved when submitting Brandon Davis.

Neither man earned a performance of the night bonus for their versions on this map, which was plagued by Tyron Woodley who ended Darren Tills unbeaten run.
