A former UFC hunter has tried to reinvent himself in a new promotion.
In 2024, people like Joe Rogan Igor Severino criticized for his actions in the UFC who led him to be immediately cut from the promotion.
The first outing of the unbeaten hunter in the Achthoek came to a shocking end after he was disqualified for the biting andre lima in the second round.
He then looked to continue with his career by signing the European promotion Oatsagon, where he made his debut in December last year.
After Severino had admitted his mistakes and earned a large division decision, he was established to fight for the title of the Bantam weight, but this continued to avoid him.

Igor Severino has canceled a third vacant title fight in 2025 after Octagon 74 update
In April, Igor Severino was planned for a new big matchup since he had registered with Oattagonon after he had announced his arrival in the promotion with a victory over Jonas Magard.
He was booked to get the former Cage Warriors champion and Dana White's Contender Series -competent Jack Cartwright in a collision for the empty Bantamweight title.
Unfortunately, the fight fell due to an injury to the Brit, but instead of finding Severino a new opponent, Octagonon chose to schedule the couple again for a later date.

This Saturday in Prague would finally have seen a new Bantamweight champion that was crowned on Octagon 74 until Cartwright pulled itself again.
This time a late replacement opponent was booked for Severino, so he held on the map against the Elvis Silva of Brazil with the 135 pound gold that is still on the line.
On August 5, the promotion announced that this matchup will no longer take place this weekend, which states that it has been canceled due to an injury, although it is not clear which hunter could not compete at the moment.

Igor Severino referred to his UFC departure with his Octagon -debutwalkout
While Igor Severino is ready to continue and show that he has learned from the mistakes that led to his UFC departure, he referred to this when making his Octagon debut.
Other fighters may have chosen to leave the past in the past. But in this case the Brazilian clearly used the story that surrounded him in his advantage by walking in a Hannibal Lecter mask.
In an exclusive interview with Bloody Elbow after his debut, Severino said that this was not his decision, but he was happy with how it was received.
“It wasn't just my idea, but I and my whole team at Chute Boxe. It was good because people really responded well to it. We did a great show. We are here for entertainment. I am very happy to fight here.”
Unfortunately for Severino he was unable to take advantage of the momentum that he received from leaving a lasting impression on his debut.
