Francis Ngannou offers final prediction for Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury 2… ‘I hope this time he doesn’t get surprised’

Ahead of this Saturday's huge heavyweight title fight, Francis Ngannou has had his final say on the matchup and predicted his winner.

When Francis Ngannou burst onto the boxing scene last year, fans were shocked that his debut was booked against then heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

'The Predator' almost pulled off one of the biggest upsets in sports history by dropping Fury in the third round, subsequently dropping him to an extremely close split decision.

Francis Ngannou predicts the huge heavyweight rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury

After narrowly avoiding defeat against the former UFC heavyweight champion, 'The Gypsy King' set up a huge undisputed title fight against Oleksandr Usyk.

The two clashed last May, with the Ukrainian handing the Brit his first ever defeat after an incredible twelve-round war.

Ahead of their rematch this Saturday, Fury has revealed that he currently weighs over 280 pounds and plans to move up to the heaviest weight of his career.

Against Ngannou, Fury was heavily criticized for his poor preparation after weighing in at 277.7 pounds, which is currently his heaviest fight night weight.

After sharing the ring with the usually light-footed heavyweight, Ngannou has made his final prediction for the big rematch in Riyadh.

“With what I saw last time, I think it is very difficult to get another result,” Ngannou told talkSPORT.

“Yeah, I mean, it might not be a knockout or anything, but I think Usyk has a very slick style. But don't discount Tyson.

“I think he has good body work and good movement. It certainly doesn't look like he can move very well, but he's very athletic and then very fluid with his punches, fast. I mean, he's a much bigger man than Usyk.

“I hope this time he won't be surprised and try to put pressure or not put pressure, like last time,” he continued.

Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk face off for over ten minutes in boxing's longest staredown ever

Last Thursday, the two heavyweights took part in a final press conference in Riyadh to promote the fight, along with several other fighters on the undercard.

After remaining extremely respectful towards each other during their fight camps, the two faced off one last time before stepping back into the rings together.

Fans were stunned as the two stared into each other's souls for over ten minutes, with Frank Warren claiming it was the longest staredown in boxing history.

The two were then separated by members of their teams after Fury started berating the Ukrainian when things started to get a little heated.
