Less than a month after his second defeat to Oleksandr Usyk, British boxing icon Tyson 'The Gypsy King' Fury has announced his retirement from boxing.
While many boxing fans are skeptical about whether his retirement is legitimate, promoter Frank Warren believes this is truly the end of the road.
However, that doesn't mean Tyson Fury is done with boxing in general, as Warren is open to giving 'The Gypsy King' a new role at Queensbury Promotions.

Frank Warren proposes a new job to Tyson Fury after his retirement
Taking to social media yesterday afternoon, Tyson Fury announced his retirement from boxing in a 'short and sweet' video in which he declared: “It was amazing; I enjoyed every minute.
“I'm going to end with this; Dick Turpin wore a mask. God bless everyone, I'll see you on the other side – Rise!”
Although promoter Frank Warren believes Fury is sincere about his retirement, that does not mean the heavyweight will be completely removed from the sport.
'I wouldn't have a problem with him getting involved with us [at Queensbury Promotions]then we would be good together,” Warren told Sky Sports.
'He has a great brain and is very smart… I hope that's not the case [goodbye] because he has a lot to offer outside the ring.”
“My view is that he is retired,” Warren reaffirmed to TalkSport, admitting that while Fury did not see the exit coming, he deserves to retire on his terms after all he has achieved in the ring.
“He's retired, I'm not going to call him and try to argue with him… We'll miss him; boxing will miss him.
“I have to be honest, I didn't know what he was going to do, but like I said at the beginning, whatever he wants to do, I'm behind him 100 percent.”
Contrary to Warren's claims, speculation is rife that this is simply Fury's latest negotiating tactic to generate more money for the highly anticipated 'Battle of Britain' against Anthony Joshua.
“Negotiation tactics? For what? He's the A side of the card? the Queensbury boss countered.
“His two fights with Usyk were exciting fights [whereas] In AJ's last fight he was pinned by Daniel Dubois. What are you talking about? AJ needs him.”
Eddie Hearn believes Tyson Fury won't stay retired for long
While the wider boxing community may have been surprised by Fury's retirement, Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn told IFL TV that he “saw that coming, yeah, I saw that coming.
“If you ever want to come back and make the most of it, you have to retire first, right? Someone has to bring you out of retirement… If it's the latter [that] we see Tyson Fury, then good luck to him… I personally doubt it, but whatever he chooses to do, much respect to him.
Hearn predicted that it won't be long before 'The Gypsy King' reveals his intention to return, especially with such intense demand for the superfight between Fury and Joshua.
“I think he will want to fight again, I think he will be bored, and he will know that the British public wants to see the AJ fight… My personal belief is that we will see him in the ring again [but] if not, good luck to the man.
“AJ wants that fight, [but] Maybe Fury doesn't have it in him anymore and he doesn't have the heart for it,” Hearn wondered, adding: “If he doesn't have that then he should retire.”
