Eintracht Frankfurt Vooruit Hugo Ekitike wants to become a member of Liverpool.
The 23-year-old striker has in principle agreed to the move if a deal can be closed between the clubs.
Liverpool has indicated to the Bundesliga side that they are ready to make an official offer. Discussions are progressing and the deal is expected to move rapidly.
Ekitike scored 22 goals in 48 games in all matches last season for Frankfurt when he helped them to be eligible for the Champions League.
