Fulham 0-3 Crystal Palace: Eze, Sarr, Nketiah fire to help Eagles qualify for SF

Crystal Palace booked a date in Wembley Stadium while progressing to the FA Cup semi-final with a hugely impressive 3-0 win against Fulham in Craven Cottage.

Both parties had opportunities in a lively opening of 20 minutes, with Andreas Pereira saw his driven effort flashing past the post before Jefferson Lerma cracked the bar with a brilliant volley.

Palace -midfielder Adam Wharton was also lucky that he was not sent for an early bath after flashing a boot in Rodrigo Muniz while he was already on a yellow card.

The potential feeling of injustice of Fulham was added when the Eagles, in particular Ebereechi Eze, got into the room of four minutes with a double loser.

The attacker of England cut from the left and curled a stunning effort along Bernd Leno from the edge of the box in the 34th minute before the provider became for Ismaila Sarr.

Eze was given far too much room to hit a cross to the nearby pole, where the Senegalese attacker was present to bend and enter the Fulhamnet.

Marco Silva made various changes in the second half, but for all possession of his side they could not find a way back in the game, where Calvin Bassey came closest to a goalmouth -scramble.

Instead, it was two of the substitutes of Oliver Glasner who sealed the victory for Palace.

Daichi Kamada put Eddie Nketiah loose from the left, and he just stayed aside before he finished cool along Leno to confirm the place of Palace in the semi -final for the second time in four seasons, because in 2025 they fly higher and higher in 2025 and a very first big trophy.

Data debrief: Eze does it again

It had already been an incredible week for Eze, who scored his first goal for England on his first performance under Thomas Tuchel, before he ended it with a leading role on Saturday.

The palace droppizer, who also achieved his 10th assist this season while he scored SARR at the opening goal, scored the opening goal to set his way, and again, it came from a distance.

Of the six goals he scored for his club this season, there are four of Outside The Box, a count only Matheus Cunha and Bruno Fernandes (both six) can be better under Premier League players.

With the score 3-0 in favor of Palace but the XG (expected goals) only 1.46 to 1.21, it is safe to say that Eze proved the difference.

Match report

Crystal Palace hit Fulham away from home and went on to the FA Cup semi -final. Goals of Eze (34 '), SARR (38') and Nketiah (75 ') abandoned the hosts, who did not respond after the first goal of their opponent despite their strong start. Jefferson Lerma was one of the stars of the game with his work in midfield, while Daniel Muñoz started a bit passively but grew until he left the field. There could be a duel by Colombians in the semi -final if Luis defeated Bournemouth City.

Now, after he went to the semi -final, the team earned a prize of £ 450,000 and hopes to find out his opponent after the quarterfinals were played this Sunday. The teams that are still contrary are: Brighton vs. Nottingham Forest (March 29, 12:15 pm), Preston vs. Aston Villa (March 30, 7:30 am) and Bournemouth vs. Manchester City (March 30, 10:30 am).

Fulham made Crystal Palace feel the pressure early. Constant attacks started with a shot from the Brazilian Rodrigo Muniz who just went wide, and then Willian was central and sent several crosses in the box that kept the visiting defense outside. The momentum of the home team decreased and the visitors shot forward to take the lead.

Palace breathed a sigh of relief in the 12th minute with an increase in Sarr, who used his pace to beat his marker and to give a pass in the box that parried Robinson. From the corner, Mateta Eng missed the chance to score. Fulham was heavier because of the Muñoz area, which looked weak in the 20th minute, leaving the space for his opponents in his role as Wing-Back.

Lerma unleashed a shot with three fingers from outside the box in the 25th minute, but the crossbar prevented what a wonderful goal of the Colombian should be. Jefferson was the most excellent player in the visiting midfield, helped in defense and also offered the team opportunities.

Palace took another breath to play in half of the opposition and Eze opened the score with a shot about the goal that Leno could not pass by in the 34th minute. Crystal Palace continued to attack after taking the lead and expanded their lead, again with Eze Centraal. The number 10 showed patience and precision to deliver a precise intersection to SARR's head, who ended in the keeper's box to bring the score to 2-0 in the 38th minute.

Fulham had no response and Palace ended the first half to check the scoreboard without much possession, but with defensive order to prevent the home team's attempts from worrying about Henderson.

What was expected happened in Craven Cottage, Fulham had to come out for the second half determined to get a goal that would bring them back to the game and tried to equalize. The Marco Silva team dominated the 60 minutes, but they could not find a way beyond the defensive structure of Palace, which remained focused to prevent surprises.

In the 67th minute Willian shot inside from a diagonal, but Henderson saved his hand to send it for a corner. The Nigerian Bassey missed the chance, but Lerma hinded him and then failed to finish off the ground.

Nketiah appeared in the 75th minute, only five minutes after standing up for Mateta. The attacker took advantage of an assist from Kamada, who had also entered the box at the same time and came in the box, switching over the field and ended by Leno's legs. A 3-0 scoreline seemed to close the draw with 15 minutes.

At the end of the game, Fulham went all the way in the stopping time, but still could not find clear opportunities against a palace side that defended more relaxed with the leadership and tried to increase their benefits on the counterattack. Muñoz left the field in the 86th minute, and in the end it was a great qualification for the Colombian team of the FA Cup -and and a half final, which will be played next Saturday 26 April, with the opponent who still has to be determined.
