The hosts organized a first half comeback to the side of Arne Slot, who were in the top flight on an undefeated line of 26 games, after Alexis Mac Allister broke the impasse with a brilliant long distance attack against the game.
Ryan Sessegnon Volleyed Fulham Level, Pounding on an uncomfortable block from Curtis Jones before Alex Iwobi benefited from more weak defense.
Andy Robertson gave Iwobi the ball on the edge of the box, and after Liverpool had not made their lines clear, the left behind him unintentionally switched to the cottagers in the lead.
Rodrigo Muniz then gave them some breathing space with a nice finish after he had changed Virgil van Dijk with an inspired touch, all within 15 minutes.
A much improved Liverpool searched for a road, where replacement Luis Diaz offered them hope when he withdrew a goal in the 72nd minute.
However, they could not find a late equalizer despite their pressure, with Harvey Elliott's attempted attempt against the bar closest.
Liverpool remains 11 points ahead of Arsenal at the top of the table and needs 11 points to win the competition, while Fulham increases to eighth, after he had given a large boost to their European hope.

Debrief data: Choosing champions stumble
Liverpool may felt that their second half performed a reward, but Fulham earned winners on Sunday.
The Reds only suffered their second Premier League defeat of the season, a run dating from September -a 1-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest at home.
In the meantime it was their first loss on the road since April 2024, ending a 17-game undefeated line of home at the top of Huis.
As far as Fulham is concerned, this was their first Premier League victory on the side that started the day of the day against Manchester United (2-0) since March 2009. Since then, the only other time they had avoided the defeat in such a match this season was in the reverse match (2-2 at Anfield).
