Furious Man Utd boss Ruben Amorim admits his team ‘choke every game’

Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim closed his team after they were beaten 1-0 by Asean All-Stars in a friendly after the season.

After a miserable campaign, United suffered further frustration in Kuala Lumpur.

It has been a terrible season for United, who finished in 15th place in the Premier League and was defeated by Tottenham in the Europa League final.

Amorim admitted that the defeat against Asean All-Stars was 'disappointing'.

As reported by the sun, Amorim said: 'Yes, a disappointing result, but no injuries and a heavy pitch.

'We don't have it not to suffocate in every exercise, in every game, that's what happened.

'We have to win these types of games, whatever happens. We have to put that into us in every game.

'The most important thing is not injuries with this weather and to arrive here on this day. It is not an excuse, we have to perform better. '

It is difficult to read too much in the result, since United used 27 players during the game, including many young people.

United still started with experienced players such as Andre Onana, Harry Maguire, Manuel Ugarte and Casemiro.

Bruno Fernandes and Alejandro Garnacho both emerged for the second half.

United is back in action on Friday when they take on Hong Kong.

Amorim's team certainly needs a overhaul in the transfer window and Wolves star Matheus Cunha is the first arrival in Old Trafford this summer.

United has agreed to pay Cunha's £ 62.5 million release clause in three installments in the next two years.

Amorim was asked about Cunha's arrival in the club after the game.

Amorim said to reporters: 'You have to wait for that (announcement). I will not confirm anything. I have no news. We'll see. There will be some changes. '
