Gabriel Bonfim puts Khaos Williams out cold to earn praise from champion after UFC Vegas 102 win

Gabriel Bonfim earned a lot of praise from one of the best pound-for-pound hunters on the planet after a buzzer-knocking victory over UFC Vegas 102.

UFC Welterweight Competier Gabriel Bonfim came one step closer to a place in the top 15 by putting asleep one of the dangerous veterans of the division.

Gabriel, whose brother Ismael also participated in UFC Vegas 102, took on Khaos Williams at UFC Vegas 102 Undercard on Saturday in the Apex. It was Bonfim's return to the Octagon, after bouncing back from his loss of the first career by beating Ange Loosa by a unanimous decision last July.

After a back and forth first round between Bonfim and Williams, Bonfim began to find his rhythm in round 2. After the fight ended up on the canvas, the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu aas bonfire Williams fell in a d'Arce stitching with just with just with seconds in round 2.

Williams chose not to tap and went to sleep instead before the referee waved the fight. It was an impressive performance by Bonfim, which quickly becomes one of the best young prospects of the Welterweight Division.

Bonfim has won back-to-back fighting since he ran his loss of the first career at Nicolas Dalby in November 2023. Bonfim won his first 15 professional fights for the loss for Dalby, including UFC wins over Tevin Giles and Mounir Lazzez.

After achieving another big win over UFC Vegas 102, Bonfim LOF delivered from an unlikely source. In a recent message to X, the UFC welterweight title holder Bonfim Supreme Credem gave his performance despite the possibility of a future collision in the Octagon.

“Bonfim looked great after his first loss came back much more patiently,” UFC Welterweight Champion Belal Muhammad placed after the victory of Bonfim.

Muhammad continued pitching a potential opponent who was suitable for Bonfim after UFC Vegas 102; Former the Ultimate Fighter winner Bryan Battle. The 30-year-old struggle is on an unbeaten streak of five fights, including recent victories over people like Randy Brown and Kevin Jouset.

As far as Muhammad is concerned, he is approaching a potential return to the Octagon to make his first welterweight title defense, which is expected to be against undefeated competition Shavkat Rakhmonov at a later date. Muhammad was supposed to head against Rakhmonov on UFC 310 before he withdrew due to a health problem.

Muhammad has not fought in the Octagon since recording the UFC Welterweight Championship by beating Leon Edwards by a unanimous decision on UFC 304. The champion has an unbeaten streak of 11 fight, including winnings about Sean Brady, Stephen Thompson and Viceente Luique.

Muhammad vs. Rakhmonov is a possible suitable for the return from the UFC to Montreal, Canada for UFC 315 in May. At the moment, the UFC has not unveiled the full card for UFC 315.

As far as Bonfim is concerned, he is one of a whole series of intriguing young contenders for Muhammad to keep ahead. Bonfim, Michael Morales, Ian Machado Garry and Carlos Prates are considered the future stars of the division.
