Diego Fagundez's Beautiful Free Kick earned the 10-man La Galaxy a desperate point at home at the Houston Dynamo on Sunday, but their Winless Streak rolls on.
Houston opened the score early when a flowing movement was finished up close by Ezequiz Ponce.
It got worse for the Melkweg after 28 minutes when they were returned to 10 men, Zanka received a straight red card after she had brought down Ponce on the edge of the penalty area, with the Argentinian on the goal.
Although Houston dominated the rest of the game and generated 1.30 xg compared to the 0.40 of the Galaxy, the visitors could not extend their benefits. Their current Winless Streak is their joint longest in MLS, because they went eight without winning between October 2022 and April 2023.
However, Lafc made four consecutive victories over San Jose in all competitions, after he won only three of their previous 11 meetings with the 'Quakes.
