Alejandro Garnacho was beaten by an ex-man Utd star about his posture, with questions that also raised about whether Matheus Cunha is the right man to turn their fortunes around
A former Star of Manchester United has beaten the behavior of Alejandro Garnacho and warned that Matheus Cunha might be another “mercenaries” signing. Garnacho is of the opinion that Ruben Amorim was told that he is not coming up in his plans for next season.
The 20-year-old winger was omitted from the team for United's 2-0 win over Aston Villa on the last day of the Premier League season. It came after he had publicly pronounced his frustration because he was gesturing for the last defeat of the club of the Europa League by Tottenham.
Garnacho has now been closed by former United and Wrexham goalkeeper Ben Foster, who accused him of being self-centered. Foster made his comments after a negative comparison of the actions of the Argentina International after the final with those of Spurs goalkeeper Brennan Johnson.
Speaking on his fozcast -podcast, he said: “I watched the Europa League final and you have Brennan Johnson his interview after the game. He just looks like a nice, hard -working, honest boy. You can tell with the way he speaks that he is a team player. He may not have the opportunity to have Garnacho …
“The full -time whistle goes and he sits down on the floor. He does not try to communicate with one of his teammates or tries to comfort them. It's all about him, him, him, him. Brennan Johnson is a team player. Give him ten times of ten. Garnaacho? No chance.”
United has a crucial transfer window ahead of the bow after their disastrous season ended. Amorim addressed supporters after the villa game to apologize and promised that “the good days are coming”.
The Red Devils have already started making movements for the following season, with Matheus Cunha that was generally expected, the first name is through the door as part of their rebuilding. Allegedly, the wolves are reportedly set to get a long -term contract until 2030 with the option of another 12 months.
United follows that their willingness shows to activate the release clause of £ 62.5 million from the Brazilian. Although the club hopes that the arrival of Cunha will bring some much needed firepower, Foster believes that the signing can turn out to be a bad decision after questioning the player's attitude.
He said: “It is more of the same. They have to go back to basics. I prefer, as a fan of United, good, honest, hard -working guys who may not have the ability of Cunha or Garnacho, but I know they are going to do it professionally and they will be there to stand and be counted when needed.
“I think United failures to get Champions League football and the money she brings with it simply opens them for this mercenary level of signing players. You will get problems.”
Cunha sent a message to Wolves fans after the end of the season – that seems to signal his departure. “Wolves, what can I tell you?” he said. “What an incredible season. We didn't come where you deserve to be, but we have done everything to make you proud. I love these guys.
“Individually it was the best season of my life. All this was only possible because of all the dedication and love I have for this club. I became the Brazilian with the most goals in a Premier League season, along with @roberto_firmino and @gabriel.Martinelli.
“I made mistakes and did things well, but always because I lived this club so much. The only thing I ever wanted was to do the impossible for wolves. Another is over. And thanks for all affection.”
