Gary Neville admits being ‘worse for wear’ after Beckham’s 50th birthday party

Gary Neville has admitted to being 'worse for wear' after visiting a lush party thrown by David Beckham on the occasion of his 50th birthday last week.

Beckham threw four days of parties on the occasion of the milestone, including an intimate dinner in the chic central London Restaurant Core.

His former Manchester United and England teammate Neville was shown one of the depicted that arrived in the Three Michelin Star-Restaurant on Saturday.

Neville arrived in a white tuxedo during the event, with stars such as Eva Longoria, Tom Cruise and Gordon Ramsey.

Speaking of the overlap, offered by Sky Bet, Neville was interviewed by fellow experts Roy Keane, Jill Scott and Ian Wright on the Bash.

“How was the party, I saw some pictures of you in the newspaper, you looked a bit worse for wear,” Scott asked.

Neville replied: “It was before Sunday's game, I wasn't the best on Sunday.”

The expert, 50, revealed that he had left the celebrations around 3.30 am and was back to work later that day.

Neville was part of Sky Sports Commentary Team for Chelsea's victory over Champions Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

The former man United star was questioned about those present at the party by Scott and acknowledged that he was 'loosely' around Hollywood Star Cruise.

Keane, however, pressed jokes on Neville on the lack of Beckham's former man United teammates during the celebration.

Neville would be the only ex-man United player who attended the party, as well as Beckham's old friend David Gardner, whom he had met in the youth teams.

Keane joked: 'Did he forget all his other teammates? Were we not good enough, know what I mean. '

“It's because you didn't invite us to your 50th,” Neville replied.

Keane replied: “You know my 50th, it was with the Pizza Express in Altrincham.”

He then joked: “I didn't want you there” when Neville stated that he would be present as invited.

The 50th celebrations of Beckham had recorded a Black Tie Pre-Birthday Bash in Miami and a family meeting in his £ 10 million house in the Cotswolds.

The Beckham family also flew out of Oxford on Friday for a wine -driven stop in Bordeaux, before he went to Paris for a chic dinner.

Beckham had given a moving speech when he attended the 50th celebrations of Neville earlier this year.
