Manchester United has emerged as the front runners to sign Wolves star Matheus Cunha, available with Brazilian available for £ 62.5 million in this summer's transfer window

Cunha has already indicated his intention to move from Molineux this summer. He came close to departure in January, but chose to stay to help their struggle to survive. Now that that is being achieved, he feels ready to take a step in his career.
“I had many offers, but I wouldn't feel good if I had done it,” Cunha told The Guardian in March. “Some things you can't control, but I couldn't leave the club in the middle of the season, in a difficult situation, in the relegation zone.
“Now we are almost achieving our goal [of staying up]. But I made it clear that I have to take the next step. I want to fight for titles, for great things. I have potential. “
