Gary Neville stuck the knife in Chelsea after their gloomy 3-0 defeat by Brighton on Friday evening.
It was an evening to forget for the men of Enzo Maresca when they got a grip on a top four in the Premier League.
Chelsea has only won three games in their last 11 in all matches and lost twice to Brighton – hit the FA Cup twice within a week.
It is a dramatic turnaround in the form of the side that seemed to found a Premier League title only six weeks ago.
And Gary Neville has a Chelsea star selected whose recent versions are worried.
In the structure of the third goal of Brighton – and the second of Yankuba Minth – Levi Colwill gave weak possession to Danny Welbeck and fell on the floor in the process.
It was a time that Neville feels that the game of the 21-year-old summarizes the past month or so.
“Colwill must become stronger,” Neville told Sky Sports.
'He is quite easily overwhelmed in games that I have recently seen. In three games I have seen, he is bullied in that channel.
And that [goal] Was clearly a very bad for him. He gives the ball away, then he sits down on the floor, turns around and looks. He spends two or three seconds on the floor. He would actually get up and return. So that's a bad habit. '
Neville, however, quickly led his comments by pointing out that Colwill is very young to play in the center of defense for one of the largest clubs in the country without much experience around him.
“I would say he is still young, he has a lot to learn – just like many other young Chelsea players playing in these types of positions,” Neville added.
“But they must become stronger. They really have to become physical and aggressive.
'It is difficult if you are a young middle half that has not yet been fully developed. He learns at work and it is hard work for him at the moment. '
