Gary Neville throws DRINK over Carragher after Reds blow Newcastle lead

GARY NEVILLE threw his drink over Jamie Carragher as he celebrated Newcastle's last-minute goal against Liverpool.

Fabian Schar converted Bruno Guimaraes' free-kick at the back post to steal two points from Liverpool as the match finished 3-3.

Neville roared with delight after seeing the ball hit the back of the net and got a little carried away in his celebration.

He threw his drink over Carragher and his son James, who both looked upset as they sat on the sofa.

Meanwhile, Roy Keane and Ian Wright discussed Caoimhin Kelleher's mistake when the goalkeeper left the cross thinking it would bounce out of play.

Carragher shook his head in response, his glee turning to misery within seven minutes.

The former Liverpool defender jumped for joy after Mo Salah put the Reds ahead in the 83rd minute after being 2-1 down in the second half.

Carragher jumped into the air before jumping over Neville as the pair played before Carragher fell to the ground.

To make matters worse for Carragher, he wore a Manchester United shirt as he cheered on the Red Devils hoping they would beat Liverpool's title rivals Arsenal.

But the Gunners won 2-0 at the Emirates to close the gap at the top to seven points.

Fans loved the exchange with one writing: “Extreme Enemies on the pitch for the best friendship rivalry ever 😂😂”

Another said: “Still s***housering in the name of Man Utd 👏”

And a third wrote: “Ok this is hilarious!!!!”
