Gavi issues Barcelona warning after Celta Vigo draw

Barcelona must heed the warning of the 2-2 draw in La Liga against Celta Vigo.

La Blaugrana returned to the competition after the international break with a late draw in Galicia.

Barcelona let a two-goal lead slip in the closing stages of the Estadio Balaidos, giving Real Madrid a title advantage.

Hansi Flick was clear in his criticism of the late collapse in the match, with Jules Kounde taking credit for his mistake in Celta Vigo's first goal.

Spain Gavi international returned to the starting line-up at Barcelona for the first time in an injury-marred year, but he was substituted with the score at 2-0 to the visitors.

Gavi reiterated his manager's message ahead of a UEFA Champions League clash with Ligue 1 side Stade Brest in midweek.

“We had the match under control, but the sending off of Marc Casado left a mark on us. They caught us in two specific situations and we have to learn from that,” said Marca.

“The first goal was a stupid goal, we have to clear the ball. If you stop concentrating, that can happen.”

Real Madrid can close the La Liga title gap to one point if they win the remaining match.
