Genoa 1-2 AC Milan: Quickfire goals snatch comeback win

AC Milan scored twice in as many minutes as they came from behind to beat Genoa 2-1 in the Serie A on Monday.

Rafael Leao took a tying run in the 76th minute before sealing the comeback's own goal from Morten Frendrup.

Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan was the striking performer in a first half largely dominated by Genoa, making various crucial rescues to keep his being level during the break.

The second half started in a largely uninspired way, with a ruthless downpour that turned out to be more consistent than football, because the game was often stopped for injury treatments.

Vitinha, only introduced a minute earlier, made an immediate impact just after the hour, drove into the room in the box and made a perfectly delivered cross home with his first touch to put Genoa in the front.

Nevertheless, Leao's desired attempt quickly recovered parity, and the Frrendrup accident eventually handed over all three points.
