Georges St-Pierre is generally considered one of the best hunters in MMA history.
What he achieved at the top during his time is hard to match and although people have dreamed of seeing GSP returning to people like Khabib Nurmagomedov, his legacy has already been put in stone.
Another total guarantee for every largest list of all time is the UFC heavyweight champion Jones who has been the subject of criticism for some time.
Fans have made it clear that they want to see Jones step in the Octagon with Tom Aspinall to unite the heavyweight titles in what would be the greatest fight of the year.
At the moment in time, according to many, the fight will really test 'bones' in this weight class, as if it can be one of the few large UFC matches that cannot come true.

Georges St-Pierre emphasizes the importance of time to view Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall
In an exclusive interview with Bloody Elbow, Georges St-Pierre shared his thoughts about the fight that most wish lists stands for 2025.
Jon Jones has made it very clear that he is not too interested in the matchup, so if the UFC wants him to unite the belts, they must make it worthwhile.
This is certainly not an unreasonable approach that takes into account the risk versus reward when taking this fight instead of driving away in the sunset without being beaten in the Octagon, outside of his loss of disqualification.
St-Pierre is on the same page as many fans in the sense that he believes that 'bones' is the greatest of all time, the younger and hungry Tom Aspinall is still a legitimate threat that makes the matchup so exciting.
The interim champion certainly has more to win, but seeing the best to ever see the new face of the heavyweight division creates many interesting stories.
St-Pierre says that the fight that takes place will amount to where the motivation of Jones is and whether the UFC will match its asking price for one of the greatest heavyweight clashes in the history of sport.
“I mean, you talk about legacy, Jon Jones is probably the best hunter who has ever lived,” he said.
“If I have to choose someone in his prime that I put in the Colosseum, hand in hand, I think it would be Jon Jones. It's hard to deny that. Nobody beats time and Tom Aspinall is on a hell of a run, so it's to see how they match.
“It's hard to say. As a fan I want to see this fight, I would really like to see this fight, but I think Tom is very hungry and it is Jon to see if he still wants to do this and whether the UFC can compensate for him well because I think he deserves it, so it's a hell of a fight.”
Georges St-Pierre is just as enthusiastic to see the other most spoken fight of 2025
When listing his favorite hunters to look at the current UFC schedule, Georges St-Pierre called the will of Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall because he likes to learn from the best.
Islam Makhachev and Ilia Topuria also fell in that bracket with their potential matchup as another fight that the UFC calendar could define in 2025.
Topuria is holding on to his weapons by saying that he is happy to wait for his title shot, while it is still in the air about whether Makhachev will go to good weight in the coming months.
If the matchup becomes a reality, St-Pierre is fascinated by the collision of styles, since demonstrably cross the top two active hunters in sport today with gold on the line.
“Yes, I mean, that's something the same. Topuria when he touches, it falls, and on the other hand, Makhachev, he explains so much pressure, he is an elite grappler. I mean, they are both good in every area, it's a great fight for fans.”
