The former Weltergeweight champion thought about the time that his training accident was captured by UFC cameras.
With a legendary career behind him, Georges St-Pierre has a number of incredible stories to look back on in retirement.
His run as champion Welterweight, St-Pierre, as one of the greatest of all time, did not mean that he was not tested both within the Octagon and behind closed doors.
He has now become a valuable coach and training partner at Tristar, with St-Pierre recently in May Aiemann Zahabi in UFC 315 in Cinner on UFC 315.
In a recent interview he looked back at a moment in his career, where one of his most important sparring partners accidentally dropped him while the UFC cameras were present.

Kenny Florian dropped Georges St-Pierre with a main kick that all saw his coach and UFC cameras
In an appearance on the Anik & Florian Podcast, Georges St-Pierre told a story about his preparations for UFC 111 where in particular one session went wrong.
Nevertheless, the champion would dominate Hardy to hold the title, but before he could make it to fight the night, 'Rush' had to fight against a adversity in the gym.
He spoke a lot about working with Kenny Florian as a training partner, but there was an opportunity, where he openly joked around, where Florian accidentally dropped him.
“While I'm going to shoot at a Takedown, he threw a main kick and I am hit in the temple and he made me freak. I have a knock -down from the flash, but I dropped the leg in my hand, so I got up immediately, but it's like a concussion because you just feel your legs.”
St-Pierre said that because he was such a perfectionist, he got up again and finished the round before he prepared to continue the rest of the session.
Unfortunately for 'Rush' the knockdown was seen by his coach and the UFC cameras, which were apparently there to capture some training images to use in promotional material prior to the event.
“Everyone saw what happened, even the prime time, the camera of the UFC is there.”
Georges St-Pierre did not know that his training partners were told to do him easily for the rest of the session
Georges St-Pierre continued to say that although he was determined to complete the full five rounds of Sparren after he fell in the third, his coach took precautions to keep his hunter safe.
Before two new sparring partners could step with the Welterweight champion, Firas Zahabi whispered to both that they had to do it quietly with 'GSP' because they did not know how damaged he was from the main kick.
St-Pierre, who did not find out after the fight, remembered how he could not believe at the time how well he did against his training partners before he later discovered that they were destroying their punches.
“The next two rounds, I kill it. I feel great because my training partner doesn't give me any form of resistance. They don't hit me in the head, so I get them down and I have something like that:” Man, I feel great, I had the best round of my life. “But all because freaking Kenny Florian kicked me in the head.”
