Georges St-Pierre’s stunned reaction to UFC Saudi Arabia knockout caught on camera

UFC Hall of Famer Georges St-Pierre had a chair in the front row for the beautiful end of UFC Saudi Arabia.

When it comes to fighting, Georges St-Pierre does not surprise much after his legendary career in the Octagon. But after a fellow legend suffered a stunning loss in UFC Saudi Arabia, St-Pierre's reaction was an exception to this sentiment.

Israel Adesanya, despite a strong round 1 against Nassourdine Imavov, suffered his third consecutive defeat against Imavov by TKO in the second round. It was the second time in his UFC career he lost by TKO/KO, and his second consecutive loss of stops.

Only two years after a stunning knockout finish against Alex Pereira, Adesanya is now on foreign territory in discussing his UFC future. Although he is one of the best pound-for-pound strikers in MMA, Adesanya's sudden deterioration led to the battle of fans to retire.

St-Pierre, an avid fan of Adesanya, was looking forward to a potential triumphant return to the Octagon in UFC Saudi Arabia. But the fight did not show how he hoped it would do, and the best victory of Imavov let him frozen in shock.

Georges St-Pierre reflects the majority of fan reactions on the amazing KO loss of Israel Adesanya

While Imavov Adesanya dropped with a bad uppercut, St-Pierre was caught by the UFC Social Media team live live live on the finish. The former UFC champion middleweight was surrounded by noisy spectators who responded to the latest setback of Adesanya.

St-Pierre treated fans at various amazing moments during his legendary career, for better and worse. His welterweight title loss for Matt Serra on UFC 69 is still spoken as one of the greatest all-time malfunctions in MMA history.

Understurfs for Matt Hughes and Serra, St-Pierre led to make various changes, which led to one of the most dominant runs in the history of Welterweight. He returned to Michael Bisping on UFC 217 to become one of the few two-division title holders of the UFC.

As far as Adesanya is concerned, he was non-specific about his immediate fighting future after extending his continuous losing series. It is the first loss of his MMA career after winning 23 of his first 25 professional attacks.

One of Adesanya's former rivals proclaimed him for a fight after UFC Saudi Arabia. Imavov is likely to get a number 1 candidate fight, in the worst case before his next booking after the biggest victory of his young career.

Bisping and others believe that the best fight days in Adesanya are firmly behind him, but after several pension plates in the past a comeback is still possible. It is still to be seen whether Adesanya will ever return to the form that will make him one of the best pound-for-pound hunters in the world.
