The fallout from Barcelona defender Alejandro Balde's claim that he was racially abused by Getafe fans continues.
La Blaugrana were again frustrated on the road at Getafe as they slipped to a fourth successive draw at the Estadio Coliseum on an awkward night for the Catalans.
Barcelona were unsettled by both the antics of the Getafe players and the hostile atmosphere in the stands, as indicated by Hansi Flick in his post-match interview.
Flick claimed he 'hadn't seen anything like this', referring to the behavior of the home crowd as the spoils were shared.
Balde confirmed after the match that he had changed the referees because of the chants and referee Pablo Gonzalez Fuertes activated the protocol on racist chants with a warning in the stadium.
Getafe boss Jose Bordalas gave his opinion on the situation, condemning racist abuse but disagreeing with Flick over the host's behavior during the match.
“I don't know if I agree with what Flick said. I am against any racist comment or chant, and we must find those responsible and remove them from the field,” Mundo Deportivo said.
