It is official: Bryce Mitchell will fight against Jean Silva in a featherweight match at UFC 314 in Miami on 12 April, and Vecht fans are not optimistic about the opportunities of Mitchell.
Earlier this year, Mitchell won the headlines due to denial of Holocaust and expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler. 'Thug Nasty' apologized later, but this did not stop the MMA community and hunters in the UFC from going on a head-tunt.
This includes Jean Silva in Brazil, who promised to inform Mitchell in his callout after the fight in UFC Seattle. Silva took Melsik Baghdasaryan on his way to an implementation bonus, and the UFC confirmed Silva vs. Mitchell in an announcement on 27 February.

With the sentiment already at a low point for Mitchell, Fight fans were looking for the news that he would fight against the rising Silva on UFC 314.

Mitchell and Silva are likely to be confronted on the UFC 314 card to arouse the most interest.

Although recentness will make you believe that Silva is running through Mitchell, it looks more like a coin flip -fight.
Mitchell is an incredibly competent grappler and one of the best entry practitioners in the featherweight division. Silva has a head start in striking, and although Mitchell shows predictability (and vulnerability – embedded by Josh Emmett), there is always a chance that Silva clips him.
That said, Silva showed a number of real vulnerabilities against Charles Jourdain two fights ago. 'Lord' exposed his back while throwing scrambling, and Mitchell is excellent in taking the back and locking the choke.
