Morgan Gibbs-White has committed himself to his Nottingham Forest teammates in Portugal after missing the start of their training camp for the season, Mail Sport can confirm.
The playmaker, who was the subject of £ 60 million from Tottenham earlier this month, was absent with the traveling party because of private matters that was not related to football.
But Mail Sport understands that Gibbs-White has now flown to Portugal and will normally train with the Nuno Espirito Santo team.
Gibbs-White has been one of the central figures of the summer transfer window.
Spurs thought they had activated a £ 60 million release clause in his contract earlier this month, but the move was stopped dramatically when Forest threatened to report Spurs to the Premier League for an alleged 'illegal' approach.
Although the 25-year-old continues to become a member of Spurs, there is a suggestion that Forest prefers that he is going somewhere else, given the circumstances of the original approach.
However, it is understood that Gibbs-White has shown an exemplary attitude since returning for duty on July 14.
Forest was willing to sell Gibbs-White this summer, but were unhappy with how Spurs dealt with himself. Manchester City showed a strong interest in Gibbs-White in the spring, only for the path to get cold in the narrow season when they moved for Lyon game maker Rayan Cherki, who cost £ 34 million.
The unknown factor is how Bos responds to a final second offer of Spurs.
Mail Sport learned in January that Gibbs-White opposed the attempts of Forest to offer him a new deal that would have doubled at least £ 60,000 a week's salary.
It is thought that a second offer from Tottenham of about £ 65 million was discussed, although not yet submitted, and it is unclear whether this would be sufficient to change the attitude of the forest.
Forest has already lost an important attacking player this summer after Anthony Elanga was sold to Newcastle for £ 55 million last week, and the departure of Gibbs-White would force Boss Nuno to renew his attacking plans.
The club still hopes that Callum Hudson-Odoi, who is out of the contract in the summer, will sign a new deal, while Forest is interested in Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey, the James Mcatee of Manchester City and Swiss attacker than Ndoye, who plays for the Italian club Bologna.
