Nottingham Forest are considering the proposed relocation of Morgan Gibbs-White to Tottenham Hotspur to be out now, Sky Sports News has been told, while Forest consult their lawyers about possible legal steps.
Sky Sports News understands that Forest has stopped all communication with Spurs when things are.
Forest believes that Spurs has made an illegal approach to the player and has never given permission to talk to him.
Sky Sports News reported on Thursday that Tottenham had caused a release clause of £ 60 million in its forest contract.
Forest believes that there has also been an infringement in the confidentiality around his release clause, because Tottenham's offer was thrown at exactly that level.
It is not yet clear whether Forest can fully block the transfer, but it is now expected to be postponed if Forest prepares a complaint for the Premier League.
Forest has refused to comment on the information from Sky Sports News and Spurs also did not comment on contact.
