Nottingham Forest has reported Tottenham Hotspur to the Premier League for making an illegal approach to Morgan Gibbs-White and have threatened to sue their rivals.
Furious forest officials claim that Spurs has packed the player – against the rules – prior to what a movement of £ 60 million is.
The 25-year-old has a release clause that is thought to be activated, but Bos is furious with their approach and has accused them of effectively tapping the player.
Mail Sport understands that Forest has now told Tottenham not to make any further contact with Gibbs-White and have written to both Spurs and the Premier League.
Premier League officials will now probably decide whether they are investigating it. If they do that, and if traces are found guilty, they can face a large fine or even a transfer ban.
While Forest refused to comment, it is thought that they were trying to solve the situation amly, but they were unable to do this. As a result, an explosive letter was sent to Tottenham and the Premier League. They have also increased the prospect of legal action.
The midfielder has four English caps and was interesting for Manchester City this summer.
He scored seven goals and noted eight assists in 34 Premier League matches when Forest ended the season in the seventh.
Spurs seem to be an edition among the new manager Thomas Frank, who has already signed Mohammed Kudus for £ 55 million.
Forest paid Wolves a club record £ 25 million plus add-on in 2022 for a five-year deal. A favorite with the public, he has made 118 performances for the club and scored 18 goals.
His last three lion's action came in the 3-1 defeat by Senegal on the city, where he came from the bank.
Tottenham refused to comment.
