Danish international midfielder Anders Dreyer from San Diego FC added a great performance to his excellent season, when he scored from just within the half line in a 4-2 victory against Minnesota United in the MLS League on Saturday evening.
Early in the game 1-0, Dreyer saw Minnesota keeper Wessel playing his line and quietly lifted the ball over the furious that Wessel deteriorated, scored what a competition could be for the goal of the year from just within half the line, officially measured on 53.52 Yards.
The spectacular goal was just a starter for what Dreyer later had to produce in the game as the Danish international, who also came to the scoreboard in the 5-0 friendly victory against Lithuania against Lithuania, completed a brace with a 66th minute before his first of his first of his Iloski.
“Otherwise and I have a great connection on the field,” Iloski said after the game. “I know my run, we talked about that peeling run and someone with his quality makes my work as much easier as a target scorer.”
Dreyer, who is likely to be selected for next month's MLS All-Star Game, now has eight goals and nine assists to his goal contributions for the season, which leads the MLS statistics, a for Lionel Messi (10G/6A), making it a likely candidate for the MVP price.
