Goalkeeper completely forgets where he is as Estonia score WCQ’s strangest goal

Moldavia -goalkeeper Andriy Kozhukhar may have committed the biggest blunder of the season during the international break.

The Moldavian national team organized Estonia in a world cup qualification on Tuesday at the Zimbru Stadium.

After just 19 minutes, the hosts were 1-0 after the opener of Rasmus Peetson.

That was after Moldova lost Maxim Cojocaru to a straight red card only five minutes after the game.

And it got worse in front of the Serghei Cescenco side at the half hour.

Estonia received a corner on the right and Kevor Palumets supplied a PinPoint Cross in the box.

Palumets found Rauno Sappinen, whose header caught a small deflection of Oleg Reabciuk.

The ball immediately went into the arms of Kozhukhar, but there was a serious problem.

The keeper apparently forgot where he was behind his goal line.

The linesman quickly noticed the incredible error of the Ves Rivne Ace and raised his flag.

The referee also saw that Blunder and Estonia immediately grant their second goal of the night.

Moldova then went to argue, but could not save Kozhukhar's blush.

Estonia won the game 3-2 but also lost Palumets on a second yellow card at 48 minutes.
