Everton is interested in signing Jack Grealishe on loan from Manchester City this summer, while the Voormer Aston Villa star is looking for more playing time for the World Cup next summer
Everton hopes Jack Grealishe to land this summer while Manchester City wants to find a new home for their record signature. But if the Toffees prove to be successful, this can lead to an uncomfortable encounter that David Moyes should keep an eye on.
Grealish, 29, signed in front of Pep Guardiola in 2021, while City £ 100 million paid to Aston Villa to land the English international with a six -year contract. However, the midfielder has hardly touched those heights and is after two indifferent seasons from the plans of the Catalan coach in the Etihad.
The toffees are interested in the club on loan, but that will not be cheap. City likes to continue to earn back the most wages of £ 300,000 a week a week, so that every interested club has to say goodbye to almost £ 12 million to secure its services.
The side of David Moyes is not disturbed by such an obligation, but Everton is satisfied to see how the transfer window unfolds before he chooses or has to be made a serious offer. Grealisk is training with City and could stay in the Etihad if the Merside -outfit Mull about whether he should act on the interests of their manager.
And perhaps there is enough to consider with the prospect of any tension, Grealisk would walk through the doors of Finch Farm.
In December 2023, Grealish did not get on the front foot with some stars from Everton. It became tough after a difficult evening against defender Nathan Patterson.
The couple shared an icy moment where their interaction threatened to become physical when Patterson refused to shake Grealish's hand before he gave him a push and pointed a finger in his direction. Come full -time, the midfielder even went his complaints from the broadcast of referee John Brooks and did not shook Michael Keane and James Tarkowski.
The former Villa man was messy and had to be led to the tunnel.
After struggling for City last season, Grealisk was encouraged to find a new club by the English boss Thomas Tuchel, if he hopes to earn a place in the World Cup team of German next summer. Play time will be crucial for the competition.
Tuchel said: “So he is a player who can be available and has an impact in our team? Yes – 100 percent. But lately he just has no rhythm, and he knows that himself. I think Jack gets better and better as he plays more minutes. He has the character to be the glue in a team, it is easy for young people to attach to him.”
